HOPE.ACT.HEALTH. (HAH), a program under the HOPE.ACT., aims to educate and mobilize California’s Latinas through focused trainings in health care policy and health care reform. For over 15 years, HOPE has been advocating within the health field to ensure quality and cost effective coverage for Latinas. Recently, HOPE has partnered with The California Endowment to further educate and engage Latinas throughout California about the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). Latinas maintain strong ties to the well-being of their families and community, which is why Latina advocacy on the PPACA’s impact among Latinos is crucial. The HOPE.ACT. network is a critical part in distributing new health information to community leaders and residents.

HOPE.ACT. is made possible through generous support from Zero Divide.
